Silkematt Rom 10 is a water-based, pure acrylic paint with a mild odor for indoor use. It covers well and provides a durable surface that is easy to keep clean. Perfect as a wall paint. Interiör 10 is used for walls on surfaces such as glass fiber wallpaper, construction boards, panels, plaster, concrete, paintable wallpaper, previously painted surfaces, etc.

Product Description
APPLICATION DATA
Application method: Brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Spraying should be done by professionals.
Thinning/cleaning agent: Water, clean with soap and water.
Recommended film thickness, wet: 120 microns
Recommended film thickness, dry: 50 microns
Guideline data for airless sprayer
Nozzle: 0.021"/0.53mm
Spray angle: 65°-80°
Paint pressure: 150 kg/cm²
Consumption: 8-12 m²/liter depending on the substrate
Drying (23 °C, 50% R.H.):
Dust dry: 1 hour
Recoat interval, minimum: 4 hours. Fully cured after 4 weeks depending on humidity, temperature, ventilation, and film thickness.
Minimum application temperature: +5 °C. Best results are achieved when applied at room temperature.
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean and dry. Clean with Gjöco Hustvätt (house wash). Follow the instructions on the packaging.
Previously oil-painted surfaces, MDF, and hard/glossy surfaces should be sanded with sandpaper and primed with Gjöco Spärrgrund (primer/sealer).
New paneling and old discolored paneling should be primed with at least 2 coats of Gjöco Spärrgrund to isolate knots.
Application
Silkematt Rom 10 is ready to use and should normally not be thinned. Apply evenly and generously. On absorbent and porous surfaces, 3 coats are recommended to avoid spotting.
Other information
The paint must be protected from frost. The application temperature of the air and the surface must be at least +5°C. Painted surfaces must cure for at least 4 weeks before cleaning with a mild detergent. Stir thoroughly. Mix different production batches before use for the final coat to avoid variations in gloss. Store the paint with the lid tightly closed to prevent spills and drying. Liquid paint must not be poured into the drain; deliver it to a recycling station.
