Description
Proff Aquagrunn is an impregnating and water-repellent wood primer for outdoor use on exterior paneling. It contains effective film protection that prevents the growth of black mold on the wood surface. Proff Aquagrunn Hvit is white-pigmented. It is used on untreated, new, and weathered wood. Can also be used on pressure-treated timber.

Product Description
Pre-treatment
The surface must be solid, clean, and dry. New wood that has been left untreated for more than 4 weeks must be steel-brushed to remove loose wood fibers. Vacuum-impregnated windows and similar items must be degreased before priming. Smooth and hard surfaces such as planed wood should be steel-brushed before priming, and sharp edges should be rounded off. Previously painted wood should be scraped clean of loose paint, and weathered surfaces should be steel-brushed down to sound wood. Grease and other contaminants are removed with Gjøco Kraftvask.
Application
Apply 1 coat of Proff Aquagrunn. Proff Aquagrunn should not form a film - brush out well. Any excess primer should be wiped off. All end grains/cut surfaces should be treated wet-on-wet 3–4 times. Primed surfaces should be painted over as soon as possible and within 1 month at the latest.
Storage
Close the lid tightly when storing the product to prevent spills and drying. The product must be transported, stored, and kept upright, in a dry, frost-free location.
Waste Disposal
The product must not be poured into drains or the environment but must be delivered to an approved collection point for hazardous waste.
