According to EN 388:2016 for Category II, up to 6 different properties are measured:
abrasion resistance, cut resistance, tear resistance, puncture resistance, extended
cut resistance, and impact protection. A number or letter is then assigned to
describe the test results. The maximum results for each property are: abrasion
resistance 4, cut resistance 5, tear resistance 4, puncture resistance 4,
extended cut resistance F, and impact protection test, which receives a P if approved. Judge
for yourself how important each property is to you as a user.
