Saicos recommends that you add the UV-Protection premium additive to SAICOS Premium Hardwax-Oil, so that you can enjoy the floor's original color for longer, as this protects the wood's natural color change when the floor is exposed to UV light. The quantities in the additive packs are precisely matched to the respective can contents of SAICOS Premium Hardwax-Oil. For all interior floors: Parquet, floorboards, multi-layer floors, veneer floors, etc. Also for other heavy-duty wood surfaces: countertops and tabletops, furniture and other interior wood - also recommended for children's toys and other wooden objects. Ideal for use in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms and kitchens. Preparation: Switch off underfloor heating 36 hours before application. Turn it back on 24 hours after applying the final coat. Pour the additive into the Premium Hardwax-Oil can, stir - do not thin. The wood surface must be dry and clean (max. moisture content 12%). Any paints and varnishes must be removed (final sanding with 120-150 grit sandpaper). Remove dust thoroughly. Previously oiled or waxed surfaces do not require sanding (clean with Ecoline Magic Cleaner) except for wood that is heavily grayed or worn. Processing: Apply with Saicos Oil / Wax-Roller, SAICOS Floor Brush or SAICOS Flat Brush. Note: The quantities in the additive cans match the specific can sizes of 0.75 L and 2.5 L. Use only one additive per can. Important: The Saicos floor brush does not work when applying Saicos Premium Hardwax-Oil ultra-matt. Note: Do not pour Saicos Premium Hardwax-Oil directly onto the surface. Important note: Saicos recommends SAICOS Ground Oil Extra Thin as the first coat for floors made of hardwood / exotic woods (European and overseas hardwood / exotic woods) and generally known woods such as oak, Meranti, Wengé, Merbau, Jatoba and Ipé. See technical data sheet. Number of coats: For untreated floors: 2 coats (primer is then not needed). Apply thinly and evenly. Do not use the UV-Protection alone as a final treatment. Always apply the UV-Protection twice. Renovation: 1 coat is usually sufficient. Best processing temperature: between 8 ° C and 35 ° C. Oxidative drying - open windows during and after treatment to achieve good air ventilation. Cleaning and maintenance: Daily cleaning with a mop, vacuum cleaner or floor brush.
