Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip is a surface treatment that combines the benefits of oil and wax with an anti-slip finish that makes wood safer to walk on indoors.
Smooth and comfortable surface
Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip is ideal for solid wood flooring, parquet, OSB, cork, and stairs in both domestic and public environments. The Polyx-Oil penetrates the wood while also forming a protective layer on the surface, creating a smooth and comfortable finish. Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip is water and dirt-repellent, highly durable, and resistant to spills.
Anti-slip R9 or R11
Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip is available in three versions: clear semi-matt with anti-slip R9 (3088), suitable for domestic environments; clear matt with anti-slip R11 (3089) for public areas such as stairs or entrances; and black with anti-slip R9 (3094 new), which contains high levels of pigment and is perfect for, e.g., theater stages or catwalks. R11 denotes the highest friction against the surface.
Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip is safe for humans, animals, and plants once dry and is approved for use on toys according to European standard EN 71.3.
Base and top coat
No special skills are required to apply Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip. It is used as both a base and top coat, or solely as a top coat, for example after staining with another product from the Osmo range.
