Nordsjö Original Natural Matt Interior is a dead-flat tinted wood stain that highlights the natural appearance of the wood and provides a very beautiful finish. It can be tinted in a variety of colors or used clear. Nordsjö Original Natural Matt Interior can be used on most light wood species and is intended for ceiling and wall panels, trims, door frames, etc.

Nutri Protect Technology allows the stain to both nourish and penetrate the wood surface while creating a protective layer. The product also features UV protection that shields against sunlight and prevents the wood from yellowing.

Pre-treatment

The wood surface must be clean and dry. When re-staining, use Nordsjö Original Universal Paint Cleaner, rinse thoroughly, and sand to a matte finish. Stir the stain well before and during use.

Application description

Always start by making a small test application on the same type of surface to ensure you achieve the desired look. For new wood or completely sanded surfaces, apply 1-2 coats.

For optimal protection with Nutri Protect Technology, 2 coats are recommended.

For previously stained surfaces, wash, sand to a matte finish, and apply 1-2 coats. Apply Nordsjö Original Natural Matt Interior in the direction of the wood grain and stain only 1 wood panel at a time to avoid overlap marks.

On new planed wood, you can apply a very thin layer with a brush or wipe off the excess with a cloth if you want a lighter surface with more of a natural wood feel.

Sand lightly with fine sandpaper after the first coat to remove any raised wood fibers. Keep in mind that the color becomes darker with each coat. Do not stain in temperatures below +5 ºC. Store the stain in a frost-free environment.

For surfaces subject to wear, such as tables and floors, Nordsjö Original Furniture Lacquer or Nordsjö Original Parquet Lacquer are recommended.

Paint layers can emit hazardous dust and/or fumes when sanded or treated with a heat gun. Work in ventilated areas. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (respiratory protection) if ventilation is insufficient. See also information in the Safety Data Sheet.

Reseal opened cans well. Scrape paint from tools before cleaning. Do not pour paint down the drain, including when cleaning tools.

Liquid paint residues and cleaning liquids must be taken to a recycling center. Empty packaging should be taken for recycling and sorted as plastic, and any metal handles should be sorted as metal.
