JOTUN Special Cleaning Yellowed Wood is a powerful cleaning agent. Used for cleaning new and yellowed wood before applying interior wood stain and other transparent indoor treatments. The product is a concentrate that should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1 part detergent: 10 parts water.
Properties and benefits: JOTUN Special Cleaning Yellowed Wood is a powerful cleaning agent for yellowed wood. Removes dirt, lignin, and fatty substances in yellowed wood. The product ensures better penetration into untreated wood. This allows stains to penetrate the wood better and provides a homogeneous, fine appearance. JOTUN Special Cleaning Yellowed Wood is highly grease-dissolving and is well-suited for cleaning very dirty surfaces. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
Area of application: The product is intended for yellowed wood (spruce and pine). Can also be used on new wood for the best results when staining.
Substrate: Untreated, yellowed wood (spruce and pine). JOTUN Special Cleaning Yellowed Wood can also be used to degrease oily wood species such as oak and teak. NOTE! Oak and other hardwoods can become discolored; test on a smaller, inconspicuous surface before washing.
Mixing ratio (volume): 1 liter to 10 liters of water.
Conditions during application: Gloves and safety goggles are recommended when using. Ensure good ventilation.
