Iron vitriol mixture with silver stain is used for coloring untreated wood outdoors. Provides a beautiful grayed color just like nature itself gives untreated timber over time. The mixture with silver stain makes it easier to ensure that the entire surface is treated, while at the same time giving the surface a beautiful, subtle shade from the start. Over time, the iron vitriol will be affected by sun and moisture and give the surface its final finish. Treatment does not provide any protection but is solely for coloring.
Use stainless steel nails to avoid rust stains.
