Description
Water-borne two-component clear coat primarily intended for varnishing concrete and wooden floors
indoors. The product provides a matte, durable, scratch-resistant, and yellowing-resistant coat of lacquer.
Product description
The lacquer is compatible with Hagmans floor paints/coatings and is recommended when a
matte, durable, and easy-to-clean surface is desired. Topplack 2K Matt can also be used on linoleum and plastic/PVC floors.
Pre-treatment:
The surface must be clean, dry, and firm. Previously painted or varnished surfaces must be sanded to a matte finish.
Ensure that all wax, polish, etc. has been removed from the floor.
Instructions/application:
Shake the container for 1 minute. Pour the hardener into the container. Shake the mixed container for 1 minute and let it stand for 10 minutes before application. The mixture must be used within 4 hours.
The lacquer is applied in 1-2 coats with a brush or felt roller. Porous surfaces may require a
third coat. When varnishing previously untreated wooden floors, be sure to carefully sand down
the raised wood grain after the first coat and wipe away all sanding dust to obtain a truly smooth surface.
Furniture can be moved back in after 24 hours. However, for heavier furniture and rugs, it is an advantage to wait about a week, as the lacquer only reaches its maximum hardness after this time.
