Description
Hagmans Clear Varnish 1K is a water-borne, quick-drying and durable clear varnish (based on a polyurethane dispersion)
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean, dry and firm. Previously painted or varnished surfaces must be sanded to a matte finish.
Application
Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. Apply the varnish in 1-2 coats using a brush or a felt roller. Absorbent surfaces may require a third coat. When varnishing previously untreated wooden floors, be sure to carefully sand down any raised wood grain after the first coat and wipe away all sanding dust to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. Furniture can be moved back after 24 hours. For heavier furniture and rugs, however, it is advantageous to wait about a week, as the varnish only reaches maximum hardness after this time.

Hagmans Clear Varnish 1K is an easy-to-use, durable, scratch-resistant and non-yellowing 1-component clear varnish based on pure polyurethane. The product is primarily intended for application over Hagmans Floor Paint 1K with or without flakes to improve wear and scratch resistance. It provides a very hard and easy-to-clean surface.
