Hagmans Floor Paint 1K is a water-borne, one-component, polyurethane/acrylate-based floor paint intended for painting concrete floors. It can also be used on other surfaces such as wood (NOTE! On wood, indoors only!) and chipboard.

Hagmans Floor Paint 1K is an easy-to-use, durable, vapor-permeable, and water-borne paint with good light and gloss resistance, based on polyurethane/acrylate.
The product is suitable for concrete and wooden surfaces both inside and outside the home (NOTE, wood surfaces, indoors only!) as well as surfaces exposed to light traffic in commercial environments. As the paint has good diffusion properties, it is suitable for painting on ground-contact floors.
To further improve wear resistance and dirt resistance, the paint can be overcoated with Clear Coat 1K. NOTE, use Hagmans Floor Paint EP-V for garages and premises with chemical handling.

Pre-treatment:
Switch off any floor heating before painting. New concrete surfaces must have cured for at least 1
week, be dry, and free from dirt, oil, and the like. Cement laitance must be removed
through, e.g., diamond grinding, sandblasting, or acid etching.
Use Hagmans Dust Binder 1K as a primer to increase adhesion and further strengthen the surface on outdoor concrete surfaces, e.g., on balconies or stairs. On untreated wooden surfaces, knots should be treated with Hagmans Knot Sealer and then the entire surface should be primed with wood/joinery primer to reduce the risk of discoloration from wood resins (especially applies to wooden surfaces that are to be painted in white and light colors).
When overpainting existing paint, the surface must be sanded matte and all loose paint removed.
Application:
With a brush or roller. Should be applied in two coats. When priming on absorbent
surfaces, the paint should be thinned with 20% water. Ensure good ventilation. At humidity
above 85%, a matte and streaky surface can occur. Brushes and other equipment are cleaned in
water.
The lowest surface temperature is +5°C. If a flatter surface is desired, the paint can be matted down
with Hagmans Matting Paste.

Matting paste is only used in the final coat of paint. The above
gloss levels are approximate and based on painting one coat according to our
recommendations for 1K: 0.1 l/m2.
Painting:
Sometimes certain rubber compounds in tires can create plasticizer migration on
water-borne paint or lacquer. On lighter colors, this can be perceived as yellowish
imprints.
After Painting:
Wipe tools thoroughly before cleaning in water. Seal the can tightly after
use and keep out of reach of children. Liquid paint residues must not be poured
into the drain but taken to a local environmental station. Paint residues must not be poured into the drain.
Metal handles must be separated from the plastic can when recycling the can.
