Silk-matt and durable floor paint.
Golv 15 Water-Dilutable is a waterborne floor coating based on polyurethane-modified alkyd. The paint has good application properties, good flow, and is highly durable. Used for indoor wooden floors and old concrete floors. Can also be used outdoors on old concrete floors. Do not use on new concrete or surfaces with a risk of moisture.

Product description
Pretreatment
Wood/hardwood/laminate:
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease.
- Previously painted surfaces should be washed with Gjøco Hustvätt and rinsed with water.
- Old glossy and semi-glossy paint should be matted down with sandpaper.
- Untreated, sanded, or worn wooden floors should first be treated with Gjøco Spärrgrund (see separate recommendations for this product). Thereafter, the floor is treated with 2-3 coats of Golv 15 Water-Dilutable.
- Old laminate flooring does not require a primer.
- New laminate flooring may contain substances that make painting difficult. A test patch is recommended.
Concrete:
Golv 15 Water-Dilutable is suitable as paint for older untreated concrete floors and previously painted concrete floors. The surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease and oil stains.
- On previously painted surfaces, all loose paint must be removed and then cleaned with Gjøco Hustvätt.
- Old glossy or semi-glossy paint should be matted down with sandpaper. Vacuum and wipe with a lint-free cloth, preferably microfiber. It is important to remove all sanding dust and similar to ensure good adhesion.
- Old untreated concrete floors should be sanded before painting.
- For newly cast floors, warehouse floors, garages, and other floors subject to high wear, Gjøco Poxydekk is recommended.
Method of use
Golv 15 Water-Dilutable is ready for use and must not be thinned. Stir thoroughly and apply 2-3 coats depending on the surface. Apply evenly and generously.
Other information
Store in a dry and frost-free place. Stir well before use. Different batch numbers should be mixed to avoid differences in gloss and color.
Wait at least 1 week before washing the floor; the paint requires up to 4 weeks for complete curing.
