The Calmarberedar´n PREMIUM is an enamelled water heater that includes a pre-installed constant anode.

The Calmar Beredar´n is equipped with dual heating elements. If one fails, the water heater continues to function on a single element, which is useful until the broken one is replaced.
With the built-in titanium anode, there is no need for anode replacement. The heater is supplied for wall-mounting, but a floor stand is available as an accessory. Heating element 2000W-230V plug.

Constant anode included as standard.
The Premium series is equipped with a constant anode. The anode's function is to protect the vessel against rust. Normally, a water heater contains a magnesium anode that should be replaced every two years. With a constant titanium anode, you have the same protection without the need for replacement.
How it works
The titanium anode is controlled by an anode booster that detects demand and adjusts its protection accordingly.
Water heaters with a constant anode are recommended for water with low conductivity (conductivity level below 25 mS/m), brackish water, or private wells.
The indicator light shows the anode's status.
On the side of the heater's control box, there is an indicator light showing that the titanium anode is active.
What size water heater do I need?
A normal shower uses between 40-50 liters of mixed water. A modern shower mixer provides about 12 liters per minute, and a normal shower takes 3-4 minutes. If you have teenagers, a whirlpool tub, or similar, you must take that into account in your calculations. So, always think twice before choosing a size. The operating cost of choosing a larger model is negligible.
Choosing the size of the water heater:
Calculating how large a water heater you need is quite simple. A heater provides about 1.5 times its own volume in mixed water. So, if you choose a 100-liter heater, for example, it provides about 150 liters of mixed water (150/50 = 3 consecutive showers).
Installation:
The Calmar Beredar´n is connected using the supplied plug to a grounded 230V outlet (NOTE: the cord must not be cut). The fuse must be at least 10 A, and there must not be any other load on the phase. The heater must be mounted in a frost-free area, and the floor must be equipped with a floor drain. The heater has an IPX4 protection rating.
Service/maintenance:
All sizes in the Premium series are equipped with a constant anode, which is designed to protect the enamel against rust. This anode does not need to be replaced over time.
