Calmar Beredar'n is a series of enamelled water heaters manufactured in Europe for the Nordic market.
The water heater with dual heating elements! Calmar Beredar'n is equipped with dual heating elements. If one breaks, the heater still works on one element, which is good until the broken one is replaced.
Indirect heating with dual heating elements
Dry-heat technology, which means the heating elements are protected in an enamelled steel tube, protecting them from deposits and corrosion.
Digital control as standard
Calmar Beredar'n comes standard with a programmable thermostat for e.g. weekly programming. Saves energy when not in use!

How large a heater do I need?
A normal shower uses between 40-50 litres of mixed water; a modern shower mixer delivers approx. 12 litres per minute and a normal shower takes 3-4 minutes. If you have teenagers, a hot tub or similar, this must be taken into account in the calculation. So always think twice before choosing a size. The operating cost of choosing a larger model is negligible.
Choosing the size of the heater:
Calculating how large a heater you need is quite simple. A heater provides approx. 1.5 times its own volume in mixed water. So if you choose, for example, a 100-litre heater, it will provide approx. 150 litres of mixed water (150/50 = 3 consecutive showers).
Installation:
Calmar Beredar'n is connected using the supplied plug to an earthed 230V socket (NOTE: the cord must not be cut). The fuse must be at least 10 A and there must be no other load on the phase. The heater must be mounted in a frost-free room and the floor must be equipped with a floor drain. The heater has an IPX4 protection class.
Service/maintenance
All sizes in the Nordic series are equipped with a magnesium anode whose purpose is to protect the enamel against rust. This anode must be replaced after approx. 2 years.
