Crystal clear hybrid sealant that glues and seals both indoors and outdoors. BOSTIK H505 SEAL’N’BOND CRYSTAL cures using moisture in the air to create an elastic seal. The hybrid-based sealant has high UV resistance and is free from phthalates, solvents, and tin.

APPLICATION
BOSTIK H505 SEAL’N’BOND CRYSTAL is specially formulated as a crystal-clear universal adhesive and sealant for indoor and outdoor(*) use. *The seal must be covered if used outdoors.
BOSTIK H505 SEAL’N’BOND CRYSTAL can be used for sealing and bonding a variety of common construction materials.
INSTRUCTIONS
When BOSTIK H505 SEAL’N’BOND CRYSTAL is used as a sealant, the maximum movement capability is 20%. Properly sized joints can absorb the movements of surrounding building materials. The joint depth must be correctly sized in relation to the joint width. As a rule, the ratio between joint width and depth should be 1:1 for widths up to 10 mm, and at least 5 mm in depth or width. For joints wider than 10 mm, the depth should be the width divided by 3 plus 6 mm.
When BOSTIK H505 SEAL’N’BOND CRYSTAL is used as an adhesive, it should be applied in vertical lines, with 10–20 cm spacing between lines. Do not apply the adhesive in spots.
LIMITATIONS
- Not suitable for substrates of PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bitumen
- Not suitable for natural stone and mirrors
- Not suitable for natural stone and chlorides (swimming pools)
- Not suitable for constant contact with water - Prolonged exposure to UV radiation may cause discoloration and make the product less UV resistant
