Description
Single-component, water-based, low-odor, and non-corrosive acrylic latex sealant. Fast-drying, tack-free, and paintable. Does not discolor surrounding materials.

AREA OF USE
For indoor sealing and jointing in concrete, wood, stone, brick, plasterboard, etc. For jointing around windows and doors. Behind ceiling moldings and baseboards to prevent drafts and dampen sound, as well as around vents and pipe penetrations.

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure surfaces are dry and clean. Weak and porous surfaces should be primed with 1 part acrylic sealant mixed with 2 parts water. The primed surface must be completely dry before sealing.
If necessary, back the joint with approved backing material to achieve the correct ratio between joint width and joint depth; use, for example, a Bostik backing rod. The joint width should be min. 4 mm and max. 20 mm.
The sealant should not be applied below +10°C and not above 50% relative humidity.
The sealant is applied with a caulking gun. The sealant must be applied so that it fills the joint completely. Press the sealant into place immediately after application to ensure good contact with the sides of the joint. Then smooth out the sealant with a moistened jointing tool, sponge, or putty knife. For best results, the latex sealant must not adhere to the bottom of the joint. This prevents the joint from restricting the sealant's movement.
Cleaning
Remove excess sealant and clean with water.
