Product description
Roof cleaner that sanitizes algae, lichen, and other growth and can be used on all types of roofing materials. After treatment, it takes a month or a few before the growth loses its grip, usually during heavy rain or snow. Lichen may take up to a year to come off. Cleaning the roof with Takrent inhibits the re-establishment of growth and keeps the roof free from new growth for a long time.
Application: Connects directly to the garden hose via the ejector. Easy to spray directly onto the roof. 2.5 liters of concentrate is normally enough for approx. 125-150m². At optimal water pressure, the water jet reaches about 10 meters. Can have a mildly corrosive effect on aluminum, zinc, copper, and other porous metals.
Dilution: Automatic dilution with the ejector.
Tip: It is time to wash the roof when deposits start to appear on it, which often happens after about three to four years. However, this varies from roof to roof, depending on the surrounding environment and its orientation towards different cardinal directions. Mild and humid winters contribute to algae, moss, and lichen thriving more than usual, as they continue to grow down to 0-degree temperatures. By cleaning the roof regularly, you keep the growth away. Always start by brushing off large clumps of growth from your roof, as they prevent the agent from cleaning the roof's surface layer. Cleaning the roof yourself is easier than you think; with Takrent Ejector, you don't even need to climb onto the roof.
Calculate 1L for 50-80m2 depending on the amount of growth. Takrent is available in 1L & 5L packaging. 2.5 liters is enough for approx. 150-200m2.
