Limit value (Cat A/e): 130 g/l (2010). Product VOC < 130 g/l.

Ensure the surface is in good condition before painting by washing with Beckers Utomhustvätt (Outdoor Wash). Any algae and mold growth should be washed away with Beckers Alg och Mögeltvätt (Algae and Mold Wash). Brush or scrape away loose paint, cracked paint layers, or porous, grayed wood. Round off sharp corners and edges. Planed surfaces and hewn logs should be roughened with coarse sandpaper before painting. Sand glossy, hard paint surfaces to a matte finish. NEW UNPAINTED WOOD: Treat the facade, end grain, joints, and nail heads with Primex Grundolja Trä (Wood Primer Oil). Wipe off excess after 30 minutes. WHEN REPAINTING surfaces in poor condition, all surfaces should be primed with Primex Trägrund (Wood Primer); this also applies to repainting old alkyd and oil paint surfaces. PAINTING ON FACTORY-PRIMED PANELS: Panels purchased factory-primed with Pinja Universal Primer from Tikkurila Sverige AB can be considered to have adequate primer protection. Our recommendation is topcoat treatment with Perfekt Täcklasyr, 2 coats. Keep in mind that factory-primed panels exposed to the elements for more than 10 months need to be primed for full protection.

Finish by applying 2 coats of Perfekt Täcklasyr. Apply generously, see our instructions on paint consumption. Paint end grain, joints, and nail heads thoroughly as well.

Rinse the facade with clean, cold water. Apply Beckers Utomhustvätt, diluted according to the recommendation for the intended purpose. Then scrub the surface and rinse thoroughly with water. In hot and dry weather, the detergent may dry. Water (soak) the facade before applying the outdoor wash. Therefore, wash smaller sections at a time.

Note that Beckers Utomhustvätt can have an etching effect on glass. Therefore, cover the windows carefully before washing the facade.

Surfaces exposed to mold must be washed with Beckers Alg & Mögeltvätt according to instructions. A pressure washer can also be used to wet and rinse the surface; remember to direct the jet along the facade, not straight at the surface, so that dirt and water are not forced into the facade.

When maintenance washing painted surfaces, they should be in such good condition that they do not immediately absorb water during cleaning (a little water always penetrates). If the surfaces are in such poor condition that they absorb water, i.e., the surfaces darken, we recommend repainting.

Always start cleaning from the bottom up. Use municipal water pressure when washing wooden facades. Our recommendation is that cleaning agents should always be rinsed off thoroughly.

Note that Beckers Alg & Mögelmedel should not be rinsed off.

Stir before use!

The substrate must be dry when painting, maximum 16% moisture content. Do not paint on sun-heated surfaces. Do not paint if there is a risk of rain or dew within 1-2 hours. Keep in mind that very high humidity can prolong the drying time.

When using a sprayer or roller, the paint should be finished with a brush.

NOTE! When spraying, use a filtering half mask against solid and liquid particles (FFP2).
