Description
Mood Velvet Color is an ultra-matte wall paint suitable for rooms where an exclusive finish is desired. The paint has excellent color reproduction, which gives beautiful depth to dark or saturated colors. Mood Velvet Color provides a wipeable and smooth surface free from distracting reflections.

UNPAINTED SURFACES:
First, remove dust and dirt with a brush or scraper. Repair any damage with filler from the Beckers filler range. Sand with medium-fine sandpaper.
PAINTED SURFACES:
Clean the surface with Beckers Inomhustvätt according to recommendations. Repair any damage with filler from the Beckers filler range. Sand with medium-fine sandpaper.
PAPER WALLPAPER:
Check that the wallpaper has good adhesion to the wall. If the wallpaper is loose, it must be removed. Prime once with Beckers Tapetgrund.
DISTEMPER-PAINTED SURFACES:
Wash off with water. Prime with Beckers Tapetgrund.
LIMED SURFACES:
Scrape and brush thoroughly. Prime with Beckers Tapetgrund.
Painting
Stir before use. Paint with Mood Velvet Color 1–2 times . Some colors may require 3 coats.
After painting
Care instructions
Everyday maintenance:
Clean the surface with an all-purpose cleaner and then wipe with lukewarm water. For best results, clean the entire wall from bottom to top and remember to ventilate the room afterward so the walls dry faster.
Stain removal:
Use an all-purpose cleaner. Black marks (metal scuffing) that occur when keys or rings are rubbed against the painted surface can be removed with a clean eraser. Never use strong solvents or alcohol.
Touch-ups:
Always touch up with the same product used to paint the surface and, if possible, the same batch number. With a different batch number or color mixing session, a minor color deviation may occur. For best results, therefore, always touch up a wall from corner to corner to avoid differences in texture, color, and sheen. For spot touch-ups, try to mimic the wall's texture by using the same type of roller to minimize the risk of texture, color, and sheen differences. Small spots can be stippled with a brush.
Important
Avoid painting if the surface is colder than +5°C. The wall paint's good properties are only achieved after approximately 14 days at a normal room temperature of 23°C. Avoid heavy soiling and cleaning of the surfaces until the wall paint has fully cured.
