Let your home feel like new with a freshly painted floor. Beckers Golvfärg Plus is a high-quality glossy floor paint used for indoor concrete floors. The paint contains no strong solvents and is therefore gentle on both you as the painter and the environment. The paint is easy to apply and provides a durable, opaque finish.

PAINTING UNPAINTED CONCRETE FLOOR, AT LEAST 1 MONTH OLD:
Clean off dirt and dust. Grease and oil stains should be washed off with Beckers Degreaser. Any cement laitance is removed by machine sanding or etching with hydrochloric acid - 1 part hydrochloric acid to 4 parts water. Rinse thoroughly with water.
NOTE! Be very careful when handling hydrochloric acid. Once the floor is dry, prime once with Golvfärg Plus diluted with 10% water.
REPAINTING PREVIOUSLY PAINTED OR VARNISHED CONCRETE FLOORS:
Spray on Beckers Indoor Cleaner and let the foam work for a few minutes, then wipe the surface with a damp microfiber cloth. Lightly sand glossy surfaces with medium-fine sandpaper. The floor reaches its full wear resistance and can be used after 3 days.
PAINTING LINOLEUM FLOORING:
Clean the floor thoroughly with Beckers Indoor Cleaner and a scouring pad (e.g., green Scotch-Brite) and wipe afterwards several times with clean lukewarm water to remove wax and polish residues. A test patch on a smaller area is recommended to ensure the floor is free of wax and polish and provides good adhesion.
Painting
For best results, finish with 2 coats of undiluted Golvfärg Plus.

Care instructions
Daily maintenance: Vacuum or dry-mop the floor. When wet-mopping, use a well-wrung cloth/mop and an all-purpose cleaner or dish soap.
NOTE! Never use alcohol, stronger detergents, or detergents containing waxes. Touch-ups/supplementary treatment: Clean the floor thoroughly and sand the surface with fine sandpaper. Always touch up with the same product the surface was last painted with and, if possible, the same batch number used previously. With a different batch number or tinting occasion, a minor color deviation may occur. For best results, always repaint the entire floor to avoid differences in texture, color, and gloss. When spot-touching, try to mimic the floor paint's texture/stipple/brush strokes to minimize the risk of differences in texture, color, and gloss. Other: Normally, the floor can be used after 1-2 days. Before then, be careful with the treated floor. For heavier loads on the floor, such as a sofa or cabinet, the floor should be allowed to dry for 5 days until full curing of the paint film has occurred. Drying times specified are for normal temperature and humidity on the floor, 23°C and 50% humidity. With a colder surface and higher humidity, the drying time is extended.
Important
Do not paint on surfaces with a temperature lower than +5°C. Stir well from the bottom before use.
