Pegakote® is a highly durable floor coating designed for the protection of industrial floors, workshop floors, floor surfaces in storage areas, exhibition halls, indoor garages, basement corridors, etc.

Pegakote can also be used on wall surfaces in, for example, production facilities and laundry rooms. The product is water-based and easy to apply with a roller or by airless spray. Pegakote is applied in two coats directly onto most mineral substrates (e.g., old concrete & ceramic tiles). For porous surfaces, dilute the first coat with 10-20% water. Newly cast (min. 28 days) or troweled (non-absorbent) floors must be grit-blasted or diamond-ground to remove all concrete laitance and create a rough surface. Pegakote should not be applied to unstable or moving elastic surfaces, e.g., thin metal sheets or bitumen-based surfaces (asphalt, mastic asphalt), or under water.
