Description
Used indoors on untreated or previously treated wood to reduce the risk of discolouration from knots, lignin, old yellowed wood, etc. Overpaint with water-borne paint, such as Hagmans Floor Paint EP-V or Hagmans Floor Paint 1K.

Hagmans Barrier Primer is a water-borne primer for wood.
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean and dry. Previously painted surfaces should be washed and sanded dull.
Instructions for use (includes application)
Apply by roller or brush in 1-2 coats depending on the risk of bleed-through. Always apply two coats over knots on untreated wood or if the surface is heavily discoloured. Note that the primer must dry for at least 8 hours between each coat. On heavily discoloured surfaces, the first coat may become discoloured; however, this is fixed when the paint film dries, so the risk of further bleed-through is minimal.
