Description
Gjøco Våtrom 05 is a moisture-resistant wall and ceiling paint for indoor use in wet rooms such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, and garages. It provides a washable and durable surface that does not yellow. It is used on walls made of, for example, paintable wallpaper, building boards, MDF, fiberglass fabric, fabric, wallpaper, plaster, masonry, concrete, and sand filler. Can also be used on panels. Must not be used directly in the shower area.

Product description
Pre-treatment
The surface must be clean and dry. Clean with Gjøco Interiørvask or Gjøco
Gulv- og panelrens. Follow the instructions on the packaging.
Previously oil-painted surfaces, MDF, and hard or glossy surfaces should be sanded and
primed with Gjøco Sperregrunn. It is recommended to perform a test application
if there is any uncertainty about whether the surface can be painted over.
Application
Apply evenly and generously. On absorbent and porous surfaces, three coats are recommended to avoid patches. It is advisable to use a roller with an extension pole, as it is easier to avoid patches. To achieve an even result, it is recommended to roll full lengths in the same direction across the entire wall.
Note
Use the same production number for the same coat and the same surface to
avoid differences in gloss and color. If necessary, different production numbers can be
mixed before use. Shade differences can occur if the bucket is tinted on
different tinting machines and/or at different times. Be aware of this if more paint
is needed for the same project later on.
Storage
When storing leftover paint, put the lid on tightly to prevent spills and
drying out. The paint should be transported, stored, and kept upright, in a dry,
frost-free place.
Eco-labeling
Gjøco Våtrom 05 is approved by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and meets the requirements for
the Swan ecolabel.
The product has been tested in accordance with the test requirements from BREEAM-NOR (2016).
The product meets BREEAM-NOR HEA 02.
Gjøco Alle Rom does not contain any substances on the A20 list.
Waste disposal
Liquid paint and wash water must not be poured into drains or into nature, but must
be taken to an authorized reception point for hazardous waste. Empty, clean, and dry
plastic packaging without handles can be disposed of as plastic waste.
Other information
The application temperature of the air and the surface must be at least + 10 °C. Painted
surfaces must cure for at least four weeks before being cleaned with a mild cleaning agent.
Light stains on dark surfaces can be removed with a microfiber cloth and clean water. Stir
well before use.
