Description
Gjøco Raw Linseed Oil is a purified vegetable oil with excellent penetration properties. Raw linseed oil does not harden and provides a softer and more elastic paint film. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Can, for example, be used for boat impregnation and the production of hand-stirred paints.

Product description
Best results are achieved by heating the oil to approx. 60 degrees. Also for oiling indoor wood surfaces.
Raw linseed oil dries slowly and is not film-forming.
Pre-treatment
The substrate must be dry and free from grease, oil, and loose old paint. Grease, oil, and other contaminants are removed with Gjøco Krafttvätt (Power Cleaner) or Gjøco Hustvätt (House Wash). Follow the instructions on the packaging. Rinse well with clean water. Let the substrate dry before further treatment.
Application
Stir the oil well before use. If thinning is necessary, use Gjøco White Spirit or Gjøco Pure Turpentine, depending on the intended use.
NOTE! Linseed oil requires a long drying time and must only be applied at temperatures above +2°C. Linseed oil is not water-resistant.
Rags and cloths with boiled linseed oil must be treated as flammable waste due to the risk of spontaneous combustion; burn under supervision or dampen with water.
Storage
The cans must be kept tightly closed to prevent spills and drying out. The product must be transported and stored upright, in a dry place, and protected from frost.
Waste management
The product must not be emptied into the drain or the environment, but delivered to an environmental collection point. Empty, clean, and dry plastic packaging can be delivered as plastic waste.
