-The wall must be firm and clean, with no loose wallpaper flakes or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall with an insulating/blocking paint. This is done to reduce the risk of the old wallpaper bubbling under the new one. Suitable paint is Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s Primer for wallpaper. Once painted, sand lightly and wash with sugar soap.
-Where applicable, prime the wall, preferably white. The entire wall must have the same shade if the wallpaper is of the type in point 3 above.
