-The wall must be firm and clean, with no loose wallpaper flakes or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall by painting with an isolating/blocking paint. This is to reduce the risk of the old wallpapers underneath bubbling when you hang the new ones. Suitable paint is Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s wallpaper primer. Once painted, sand lightly and wipe down with sugar soap.
