Repairs made with 5180 have unmatched adhesion and are virtually indestructible. 5180 withstands temperature fluctuations, chemicals, and solvents. Prime porous substrates with 5401 and immediately apply 5180 wet-on-wet to the still-tacky surface. 5180 is supplied in a convenient pack containing aggregate premixed with an epoxy base and a separate pack of activator.
The components are mixed on a clean surface (e.g., a wooden board) using a putty knife or in a sturdy plastic bag. Apply 5180 with a putty knife or trowel. Moisten tools with thinner 160 for smoothing.
