Product description
Färgbort is used for efficient removal of old paint. Suitable for paints such as acrylate (latex), alkyd oils and hybrids of these, linseed oil paint, plastisol, old floor varnish, etc. May have some effect on epoxy paint. Does not dissolve UV-cured/hard paints such as automotive paints. Can be used on all types of surfaces. The agent does not run on vertical surfaces. Easy to scrape off the paint once it has detached from the surface. Does not etch metal or glass.
Usage: Clean the surface and then apply the agent with a brush or roller. Cover the entire surface where paint is to be removed. Avoid letting the agent dry during work. Remove the loosened paint, e.g., with a paint scraper.
Dilution: Ready for application without dilution.
Instructions: Clean the surface and apply the agent with a brush or roller. Let it work for 30–60 minutes; the agent should not dry completely. Scrape off the loosened paint. Apply a second time if necessary, e.g., if there are several layers of paint to be removed. Collect paint residues for disposal. Working temperature >+10°C. Low working temperatures can result in poorer performance and require longer treatment time.
Tip: Start by removing old paint with Färgbort instead of sandpaper. Old paint sticks easily to sandpaper, making it quickly unusable.
Environment: Bio-based and biodegradable. Does not contain fossil-based solvents. The product is instead based on a natural solvent made from cellulose. Manufactured in Sweden.

Coverage: >0.25 l/m2, depending on the area of application.
