Elit Bio Deck Oil is a partially bio-based deck oil with strong UV protection that shields the wood against moisture absorption, dirt, and cracking. It has a maintenance interval of up to 4 years. The product is suitable for wooden decks and outdoor furniture. * Bio-based content: 75%, proportion of organic carbon measured according to ASTM D6888-18.

Preparation of surfacesWash dirty surfaces with Beckers Deck Wash (Terrasstvätt). Surfaces overgrown with moss, algae, and mold should be treated with Beckers Algae & Mold Wash (Alg & Mögeltvätt). Rinse well and let the wood dry. Brush or sand away porous and greyed wood.

Maintenance advice
Maintenance washing of wood: Inspect the wood and wash the furniture with a mild detergent. If the wood has started to turn grey, wash with Beckers Deck Wash. Rinse thoroughly with water. Surfaces attacked by mold, algae, or moss should be treated with Beckers Algae & Mold Wash. Let the wood dry. Oil the wood according to our recommendations.
Important
The surface must be dry when oiling, with a maximum moisture content of 16%. This also applies to new pressure-treated wood, which should therefore dry for at least one season before painting. Avoid oiling surfaces if there is a risk of rain within the next 24 hours. Surfaces oiled with deck oil should not be treated with any other system for at least 2 years. Test-paint first to check adhesion. Risk of spontaneous combustion.
Used rags, cotton waste, etc., can cause fire within several hours and must be placed in a metal container with water and sealed well before disposal.
