Description
Nordsjö Tinova UV Super Terrace is intended for decking and outdoor furniture
made of pressure-treated timber.
The oil penetrates well into the substrate and
prevents moisture penetration and cracking.
Tinova UV Super Terrace can be used unpigmented, but it has the longest service life when pigmented.
The product provides excellent protection against UV rays, which further extends its service life.
Treatment
The surface must be dry (max 16% moisture content) and well cleaned.
New painting:
Sand new wood smooth to help the oil penetrate more easily into the wood, then
treat with 1-2 coats of Tinova UV Super Terrace
depending on the wood's absorption.
Repainting:
Previously oiled surfaces must be cleaned of old oil and dirt
using Terrace & Furniture Cleaner. Sand away grey wood and rinse off
any detergent residue.
Then apply 1-2 coats of Tinova UV Super Terrace, depending on the wood's absorption.
It is important to wipe away any excess oil as it must not form a film.
Stir the can thoroughly. Do not oil in direct sunlight or if there is a risk of
rain or dew within approx. 6 hours of application. Never paint
below +5°C or in high relative humidity (>80%).
