Designer
Mats Jonasson's talent for drawing was noticed early on, and he began working as an engraving apprentice at the glassworks as early as 1959. Over the following decades, he worked with several of the great glass artists of his time. At the same time, he developed the nature-inspired style that he has since refined to perfection.
"Our forests have influenced the human soul since time immemorial," says Mats Jonasson. Inspired by this nature, he has created his distinctive crystal objects with an open mind. Today, the son of the glassworks is represented all over the world.
