Description
Drygolin is a white spirit-free, opaque wood stain based on alkyd oil. Contains film-preserving agents that reduce the risk of black mold growth on the wood surface.

Properties and benefits:
Levels out very nicely and leaves no brush marks. The product contains film-preserving agents that reduce the risk of black mold growth on the wood surface.
Area of application:
For wood and impregnated wood. Can be used on untreated and previously treated wood outdoors. Especially suitable for planed wood, e.g., windows, doors, garage doors, fences, garden furniture, etc. Can also be used as a topcoat on anti-corrosive treated steel and other metals.
Note:
To ensure long maintenance intervals, it is important to apply a sufficient amount to edges and planed surfaces, at least 3 coats (100 μm dry film thickness). Round off sharp edges. Remember to treat end grain. Perform a test application. Do not mix with other paint products and do not add foreign oils. The product should not be thinned. Old tar, mineral oil treatments, etc., may cause discoloration when re-treated. Linseed oil/oil in the substrate can cause blistering and peeling. Sun on semi-dry paint can cause skinning and blistering. When painting on fire-retardant impregnated paneling, problems with salt efflorescence/peeling may occur. Bases must be tinted via Jotun Multicolor. Contents of cans with different production numbers and tinting systems may cause shade variations in the color.

Guidelines for high-pressure spraying:
Nozzle diameter: 0.46 mm (0.018")
Spray angle: 65–80°
Paint pressure: 15–18 MPa (150–180 kg/cm²)
Spray painting of the product should only be performed by professional users.
Cleaning of tools: Water and JOTUN Brush Cleaner.
