Full adhesion: achieved after 4 weeks of curing. May vary with changes in temperature, humidity, ventilation, and film thickness.
Minimum application temp.: +5°C. For best results, apply at room temperature.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-treatment: The surface must be clean and dry. Glossy surfaces should be matted down with fine-grit sandpaper. Untreated old masonry, previously limewashed, and highly chalky surfaces should be scraped, brushed, and primed with Gjøco Murseis or Mineralprimer. Old panels should be cleaned with Gjøco House Wash or Gjøco Power Wash and wiped with clean water before applying Blocking Primer.
Application method: For use as a primer, apply one coat of Blocking Primer. To block knot bleed-through and discolored surfaces, apply 2 full coats. On particularly difficult surfaces (e.g., new pine panels, old/discolored panels), more than 2 coats may be required - perform a test patch. Please note that knot bleed-through is a natural phenomenon that will always reappear over time.
Other information: Gjøco Blocking Primer is ready to use and must not be thinned. Store in a dry, frost-free place. Stir well before use.
