Description
Treatment with soap is a completely natural way to saturate lye-treated wood. Faxe Floor/Panel Soap Natural has been developed specifically for this purpose and is made from light, pure vegetable oils and natural waxes, which provide effective protection and make the wood easy to maintain. Faxe Floor/Panel Soap is also available in a white-pigmented version, called Faxe Floor/Panel Soap White.

Application
Faxe Floor/Panel Soap Natural is intended for the finishing and maintenance of lye-treated wood on floors, furniture, tabletops, etc., where a light golden finish is desired.
Faxe Floor/Panel Soap White is used for the finishing and maintenance of lye-treated wood on floors, furniture, tabletops, etc., where the sought-after white-washed patina is desired. The procedure for finishing, maintenance, and renovation is the same for both soaps.
Maintenance
For the daily cleaning and maintenance of wood treated with Faxe soaps, vacuuming is sufficient. When the wood begins to get dirty, it is easily washed with Faxe Floor/Panel Soap Natural or Faxe Floor/Panel Soap White as described under Finishing. However, 1 liter of soap is used to 10-20 liters of warm water.
Renovation
When the wood needs to be renovated, it is washed with Faxe Wood Cleaner. Afterward, the wood must be saturated again with Faxe Floor/Panel Soap Natural or Faxe Floor/Panel Soap White as described under Finishing.
Finishing
Finishing lye-treated wood with Faxe soap can be done manually or - on larger surfaces - with a polishing machine. Lye-treated wood is effectively saturated with a concentrated solution of Faxe Floor/Panel Soap Natural or Faxe Floor/Panel Soap White as described below. From then on, the wood is easily cleaned with Faxe Floor/Panel Soap Natural or Faxe Floor/Panel Soap White.
