Stålplast Chemical Metal is used for sealing leaking petrol tanks, radiators, pipes, water tanks, gutters, etc. The product is resistant to petrol, coolant, oil, water, etc. Excellent for repairing and joining wood, metal, porcelain, concrete, and several other materials. Provides a very strong and durable repair or joint after approx. 10 minutes of curing.

Which surfaces is Stålplast Chemical Metal suitable for?
The product is suitable for sealing petrol tanks, radiators, pipes, water tanks, and gutters, as well as for repairing and joining metal, wood, porcelain, and concrete. Resistant to petrol, coolant, oil, and water.
How long does the repair last?
The shelf life of an unopened product is 18 months. A correctly performed repair provides a very strong and hard joint that lasts a long time.
What does 2-component filler mean?
You mix comp. A (the filler) with 2–3% comp. B (the hardener) until a homogeneous color is achieved. Only mix as much as you can use within approx. 5 minutes.
How much do I need?
The amount depends on the size of the damage. For occasional sealing and small repairs, 180 ml is sufficient for many uses. Choose 550 ml for larger jobs.
At what temperature can I apply the product?
The best working temperature is approx. +20°C. Lower temperatures extend gel time and curing time. Do not use the product on cold or damp surfaces.
Do I need to pretreat the surface?
Yes – the surface must be dry, clean, and free from grease, oil, and rust. Sand and degrease thoroughly for best adhesion and durability.
Is the product environmentally friendly?

Pretreatment
The surface must be dry and well cleaned, free from grease, oil, and rust. Sand if necessary and degrease thoroughly with a suitable degreaser before application.
Application
Mix comp. A with 2–3% comp. B until a homogeneous color is obtained – only mix as much as will be used within approx. 5 minutes. Apply to the prepared surface and allow to cure for 10–15 minutes. Clean tools with ethyl acetate or thinner immediately after use.
