William Morris was an English designer and author and known as a leading figure of the Arts and Crafts movement during the 19th century. The movement had a major influence on interior design, crafts, garden art, and architecture, and advocated for a personal style instead of historical styles. William Morris's well-known patterns originate from a great interest in nature and plants, where details from these are created into repeating patterns with a timeless design. Bachelor's Button is the English name for the cornflower, a wild-growing flower that inspired Morris during his walks in the English countryside. The material is FSC®-certified birch veneer with a protective melamine surface, which makes the product very durable. Made in Sweden. Dishwasher safe.
