-The wall must be firm and clean, with no loose wallpaper flakes or filler dust.
-If you have not removed all old layers of wallpaper, which is recommended, it is a good idea to prime the wall with an insulating/blocking paint. You do this to reduce the risk of the old wallpapers bubbling up under the new ones. Suitable paint is Sigma Isotop Primer or Jotun’s Primer for wallpaper. Once painted, sand lightly and wash off with sugar soap.
