Gjøco Proff Solid is a water-borne, low-odor, and solvent-free PVA emulsion paint for indoor use in dry rooms. Gjøco Proff Solid is used as an intermediate and top coat on various types of construction boards, plaster, concrete, glass fiber wallpaper, previously painted surfaces, etc.

Product description
Pre-treatment
The substrate must be clean and dry. Clean with Gjøco Interior Wash or Gjøco House Wash and rinse well with clean water. Previously painted surfaces, MDF, and hard, smooth surfaces should be sanded down and primed with Gjøco Proff Heft. Discolored surfaces should be primed with Gjøco Proff Isolèr to prevent bleed-through. Untreated masonry, absorbent surfaces, and previously whitewashed surfaces should be scraped, brushed, and washed before priming with Gjøco Primer for masonry and concrete.
Application
Proff Solid is ready for use and should generally not be thinned. Apply 1–2 coats as needed. It is recommended to use a roller with an extension pole, as it is easier to avoid texture marks. To achieve an even result, it is recommended to roll full lengths in the same direction across the entire wall.
Note
Use the same production number for the same coat and the same surface to avoid gloss and color differences. If necessary, different production numbers can be mixed before use. Shade variations may occur if the bucket is tinted on different tinting machines and/or at different times. Be aware of this if more paint is needed for the same project later on.
Storage
When storing leftover paint, close the lid tightly to prevent spills and drying. The paint must be transported, stored, and kept upright, in a dry and frost-free place.
Eco-labeling
Gjøco Proff Solid is approved by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and meets the requirements for the Swan eco-label. Accepted according to the Building Materials Assessment's (BVB) assessment criteria.
Waste management
Liquid paint and wash water must not be disposed of in drains or in nature but must be taken to an approved hazardous waste collection point. Empty, clean, and dry plastic packaging without handles can be disposed of as plastic waste.
