Instructions: In the case of several construction projects in the property, floor contracting should be performed last. Ensure that residual products and emissions from previously used silicone and other chemicals are completely removed before further handling begins. Sand the raw wood thoroughly and take measures so that an even and uniform finish is achieved over the entire floor surface. Clean the surface with dry cleaning methods for sanding dust, first with a vacuum cleaner and then with a microfiber mop; use only dry cleaning methods to remove dust. Sanding dust should be considered flammable – there may be a risk of spontaneous combustion! A freshly sanded wood surface should be surface-treated immediately. Freshly sanded wood is, among other things, sensitive to moisture, dust, dirt, and stains from liquids and sweat. Use shoe covers, disposable gloves, and clean, dust-free clothing and tools when entering the floor area and during surface treatment. Ensure a dust-free environment during application and during the product's drying time. Indoor climate: where you are to perform your work, the temperature should be 18 – 22 °C in combination with a relative humidity (RH) within 30 – 60 %. Wood material being treated should contain a maximum of 12% moisture content and be acclimated to the interior environment. Do not apply and never store SAICOS products in direct sunlight, on underfloor heating, in cold conditions, or under other abnormal conditions.
